Burnham FC were founded in 1878, making them the second oldest club in Buckinghamshire. Their first senior competitive season began in the year 1971 in the Hellenic Football league Division One, and ended on top of the league as champions. The following year they merged with Hillingdon FC to form Burnham & Hillingdon FC, but two years later reverted to just Burnham FC. Following relegation from the Hellenic Premier Division in 2017-18, the club spent a season in the League Division One East; before a transfer to the Combined Counties Football League Premier Division North.

Standings:

The Lions currently sit 14th in the league, following the emphatic 4-2 win over Holyport last Saturday. The match saw Qasim Khan net his first goals of the season, in the form of a spectacular hattrick. Their first win of the season saw them jump 4 places from 18th, which leaves them 7 places behind 7th placed Burnham, who have played 2 less games so far.  The Blues’ most recent league game saw them take a point away from Northwood, before falling to a 1-4 defeat at home in the cup to the same side 3 days later.
