Cobham FC was founded in 1886, before joining the Surrey FA in 1992, subsequently joining the Kingston and District Football League. They were crowned champions of Division One in 1928-29 and 1929-30; and then moved to the Surrey Intermediate League Central. Two more honours in the form of two League Cup wins in 1933-34 and 1935-36 saw them move to the Surrey Senior League in 1937-38.

The club spent a few seasons in the Home Counties League following the War, but were placed in The Eastern Division when the league became the Combined Counties League, but the League was then merged again after the 1981-82 season.

Cobham won the Premier Division Challenge Cup in the 2001-02 season, after beating Bedfont in the final. The club were placed in the Premier Division in 2003 after the Second Division was introduced, but were relegated in 2008-09 after a last placed finish. Cobham were then promoted again in the 2018-18 season after finishing runners up, and currently compete in the Premier Division South.

Standings:

Wembley head into the game off the back of a 0-0 stalemate with CB Hounslow, a late penalty miss for the Lions being the difference. Despite the draw, Wembley are still placed 9th in the Table, juts three points from 6th placed Windsor. In Cobham’s League, The Hammers are placed 8th, picking up 24 points from 18 games. Wembley and Cobham have not faced in recent history, proving this fixture to be an interesting one between two side in similar spells of form.
