Wembley failed to add another win to the pre-season campaign, with Codicote taking all the spoils in a closely fought game.

Having already claimed two victories and a defeat this pre-season, The Lions looked to bounce back with a win. With the new season almost upon us, this game would be seen as a good barometer to the sides conditions.

The hosts, Codicote raced into a two goal lead, but Wembley were able to grab a goal back just before the stroke of half time.

The second half proved a tough test for both sides, and the two sides cancelled each other out, leaving the game to remain 2-1 to Codicote FC.

Next up for The Lions is Croydon FC on August 1st, which will be the final pre-season game, with the start of the competitive season kicking off on August 6th at Vale Farm.
