The season is now over for us here at Wembley Football Club, and we would like to thank everyone for their support, for both our first team and also our under 18’s season.
In what has been our with fans after the pandemic, and a season not affected by the pandemic, it has been great to see people back at Vale Farm enjoying the Lions play on the carpet pitch.
There have been high and lows this season, some good results and some less so, for both teams; but what is certain is that it has been a good season going forward.
However, and unforgettably, the Wembley FC family was hit with great sadness this season, as we learnt of the passing of Raheem Belgrave, who had turned out for the Lions many times this season and was an important and popular figure within the dressing room here at Wembley.
The loss of Raheem was a massive shock, and we continue to send our condolences, together with our thoughts for Raheem family and closest friends, whose worlds would’ve been turned upside down with such devastating news.
Raheem will never be forgotten, a great man, a great brother, son, friend or teammate, he will be remembered and held closely to peoples hearts here at Wembley FC.
Once again, from everyone on and off the pitch at the club, we’d like to thank everyone for their support, stay with us, we’ll be back next season and raring to go, both on and off the pitch.
COME ON YOU LIONS! 🦁
Shortly, a season report for both our teams will be published, alongside some key highlights, fixtures and other pieces of content to sum up the season.
